Starting from the year 2024, businesses operating within the European Union that exceed a certain financial threshold are required to embrace a pillar of business responsibility, transitioning from short-term vision to an understanding of the socio-economic environment of the future.
Romania is far from achieving its sustainable development goals at the present moment, but small and medium-sized organizations, which are more flexible in decision-making and implementation processes, can create an operational ecosystem aligned with long-term standards.
SMEs (Small and Medium-sized Enterprises) and NGOs (Non-Governmental Organizations) that have joined previous editions of our sustainable transformation program are social actors who aim to build a healthier future guided by innovative and responsible principles.
The 2022 Participants
The SMEs (Small and Medium-sized Enterprises) and NGOs (Non-Governmental Organizations) that participated in the 2022 edition operate in fields such as education, palliative care services, interior design, food and food production, creative industry, craftsmanship, circular economy, sustainable fashion, and commerce.

Jooca is a team of interior architects passionate about design in all its forms. Their mission is to create spaces tailored to the client's personality and provide creative and ingenious solutions for people who want to live simply and beautifully. They believe that arranging a space is a good moment for personal and family change and evolution. They encourage their clients to focus on the essential things to create space in their homes and lives.
favr.
favr. believes that snacks can be healthy for both consumers and our planet. They have created their own concept of products that reuse ingredients used in beer, juices, and plant-based milk production, building a business that only produces sustainable products. favr. aims to develop this concept to reach as many people as possible and have a positive impact on the environment by reducing waste. favr. is a concept designed and created in Romania.
Teach Stream
A charitable educational project by the company Everymatrix, which ran for three years in two of the Day Centers of the General Directorate for Child Assistance and Protection in Sector 2. The project evolved into an NGO and continues its activities in five Day Centers of the General Directorate for Child Assistance and Protection in Sector 2 and Sector 4, with the same mission: to help underprivileged children through quality education in three important areas: Computer Science, Mathematics, and English.
Asociația Oricum (NOUA)
A team of nature enthusiasts inspired by the new generation of Earth's inhabitants, aiming to inspire them in turn. Education is a shared responsibility, and the organization aims to facilitate the learning process and act for the planet's well-being. They encourage parents and children to become informed, curious, and responsible citizens. NOUA includes news on environmental education, interviews with experts and scientists, and activity recommendations.
Aspire for Education
An NGO that promotes access to quality education through courses and programs in leadership, entrepreneurship, and personal development, supported by professors from top foreign universities. Their vision is to develop a community of strong leaders with ethical principles and exceptional skills coming from various professional backgrounds and environments. Their mission is to discover young leaders and help them facilitate impactful and beautiful projects with social significance.
Tevia
A natural store that facilitates access for people in the town of Marghita (Bihor County) to a wide range of health-beneficial products. All Tevia products are intended for daily health maintenance routines and are developed based on principles of nutrition, phytotherapy, gemmotherapy, apitherapy, aromatherapy, and cosmetology. Tevia's goal is to offer those interested a healthier alternative to conventional products and solutions tailored to the needs of each individual customer.
Fundația Comunitară Galați
The foundation was born from the generosity and desire of Galați residents to bring positive changes to the community they live in. Their passion is Galați. Their mission is to transform Galați into a city from which you wouldn't want to leave. Activities range from philanthropic and educational to civic community mobilization. The foundation mobilizes community resources to meet community needs and develops a local philanthropy infrastructure.
Romanian Diversity Chamber of Commerce
An NGO that promotes diversity and inclusion principles in the Romanian business community. RDCC is a forum of activities that brings together stakeholder groups, including women, LGBTQ+, individuals from different ethnicities, people with disabilities, and other disadvantaged groups, as well as business community leaders. RDCC's vision is to create a business organization that promotes professional development opportunities, community resources, and networking events.
Tonic Blend Kombucha
Tonic Blend provides a good taste and energy without side effects, in a comfortable and authentic way, making the right choices for consumers, their health, and the environment. Their "why" stemmed from the desire to actively contribute to a positive change in the world. All Tonic Blend products are created according to the authentic recipe, with no unfounded promises, using only organic ingredients fermented in glass and delivered unpasteurized so that everyone can enjoy this wonder of nature called kombucha.
Asociația Capace cu Suflet
The organization was established as a civic initiative that more and more people joined. In a sentence: "Capace cu suflet" gives new meaning to plastic caps. In four simple steps: 1. Collect plastic caps of HDPE and PP types. 2. Sell the caps to specialized firms. 3. Round up the amounts with donations or sponsorships. 4. Donate the resulting sums to various humanitarian causes suggested by those involved in the project.
Textile Care Expert
Textiles Care Expert was established in 2017, a project dedicated to training and professional development in the dry cleaning and textile laundry industry with the intention of helping entrepreneurs and their employees optimize processes and technological flow. In 2020, a specialized training center for continuous education was opened. A showroom equipped with the entire technological line specific to dry cleaners, where learning processes, technological flow, and management are predominantly practical.
Miradex
Miradex is a family-owned business that has been active for 30 years in Romania. They provide expertise in designing, manufacturing, and assembling prefabricated wooden structures for residential, commercial, or industrial buildings.

Beyond the relationship with the surrounding environment, this association nurtures the importance of inner discipline in those who are with them, a constant practice of internal awareness, and how this reflects in the choices we make.

The Association for Digital Education ‘Bigger Picture’ supports non-formal education. Their mission is to produce quality content in a modern and digital way, promoting diversity and inclusion for all children, with or without hearing impairment. Since 2018, they have been building a unique concept in Romania in audio format and in Romanian sign language, consisting in stories, fairy tales, stories, worksheets, and interactive quizzes that can be accessed for free.

Efconic is an advertising production agency that promotes a cleaner environment, a more engaged and responsible society, and a healthier life, understanding that change must be supported from the grassroots. The agency's mission is to reach as many sustainable products and services as possible, promote them, and help them achieve long-term goals.
NutriCare.Life
The first preventive tool in nutrition, a digital platform whose mission is to make a longer and healthier life accessible to everyone. Following the results of studies and recommendations from nutrigenetics specialists, this platform meets the modern needs of nutrient accumulation, metabolic improvement, and leading a balanced life.
Association for Education in Social-Human Sciences (ESSU)
The association started as an initiative to contribute to increasing the adaptability of today's students to the socio-economic context of the next 30 years. In view of an ultra-technological future, the non-formal education workshops developed by ESSU highlight the role of key competencies in the field of social-human sciences in shaping tomorrow's adults.

Sports Culture Sports Club is a community of athletes that facilitates swimming training for both children and adults. Members of this initiative have joined under the vision that sharing their own experiences multiplies the benefits. For this reason, the driving force of their activity is the sharing of learning experiences, training, or participation in sports competitions. Another bond of this community is the mission to enjoy an active life together.

Gritty Education is an educational hub that trains superpowers, i.e., meta-competencies, psychological skills, and character traits that sharpen children's way of thinking and a philosophy of life to help them successfully navigate their future. Gritty offers urban and summer camps, workshops, and activities that help children fulfill their potential from a young age and remain flexible in thinking and perspectives.
